DÉCOR AND DECORATING
Mandate: To provide friendly, quality service that fits all budgets and suits any type of event.
We have a great deal photos, ideas, sources and experience to help you plan your event. We do it all, from a single birthday balloon or wishing well to a fully decorated event for 1000’s of people.
We have expanded our retail stock to serve your needs better. If there is something that you would like us to carry or something you can’t find let us know. If we don’t sell it or rent it, we know who does or we will find out for you.
Three levels of service
You rent and purchase goods. Rental items are picked up Thursday or Friday and returned Monday (for weekend events).
We plan a package together (design/colour). We custom make it for you so all you have to do is install it. Example: Head table with tulle ivy and minilights (items would be premeasured, and assembled ready for you to attach to head table).
Together we design the look that you want. Thompson Tents delivers, installs, takes down and cleans up after the event.
Cost
Pricing start at a single balloon or centrepiece to large volume discounts for 500+ people events. Decorating levels 1 and 2 start at a few dollars to whatever you imagine.
Full Service off site decorating starts at $250.00. There are many factors which affect pricing: size, style, hall conditions, mileage etc. See Delivery and ‘In-tents’ Labour.
Head Table Décor *Cost includes linen and labour to install, delivery extra.
STYLES OF DECORATING
- Style #1 Simple Elegance
Using any combination of tulle(white or ivory; coloured add 10%), ivy, ribbon wrap and minilights we create a simple yet elegant décor with accents of bows or use of bouquet holders to add the finishing touch.

- Style #2 Flowing Organza
Using linen (linen is white or ivory), organza (organza – gold, white, silver) or other mesh fabrics we create a fairy tale décor. If flowing is your key word organza and mesh can make it a reality.

Using ivory or white linens we create an amazing décor, which appears to glow from within. Swagged and draped linens or organza over a net of minilights create our most elegant look.
