Our Mandate
Our mandate is to be the safest, most reliable, effecient and creative party rental service anywhere. Our goal is to provide to our customers in the manner which we like to be served.
History
Paul Thompson Tent Rentals is a small family business founded in 1978 by Mr. Doug Thompson in his living room while planning his son Roberts wedding. The original tents were manufactured by his other son Paul. In the early 80's Paul turned the companies focus to tent rentals and then expanded to party rentals.
We now have 4 full time and over 20 seasonal employees. We serve both large and small events, from family BBQ's to elaborate weddings and anniversaries, company picnics to festivals using sixty-five tents. We rent party related products for pick-up, delivery, or full service. We decorate tables, halls and tents. We can oversee your event from concept to clean-up and all of the labour required to pull it all together. We specialize in full service tent weddings, set-up, decorating and staffing the event. We are constantly expanding and evolving. In a few years we've grown from installing tents only to event consulting, including site layout, planning, logistics and site management. We have expanded to include a wedding retail and gift store. Our goal is to be the leader with current and fresh ideas and products.
Paul Thompson's mission is to develop an excellent work environment, thereby developing great staff to plan a party with. Thompson Tent Rentals mission is to make our clients special event the most memorable one by providing excellent service and unique quality products.
Policies
Prices quoted are for "event rentals" encompassing a 1 to 4 day rental period (*except where noted). If you wish to rent items for an extended time period, please call for our special long term rates. A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is required upon delivery or customer pick-up. A damage waiver is offered to protect our customers from incurred replacement costs. The damage waiver does not cover loss or theft. If the damage waiver is declined then you are responsible for repair or replacement costs. We will do our best to accommodate changes (within reason) up to until 24hours prior to delivery or customer pick-up. If the order leaves our shop for delivery to you, the full rental invoice will apply whether the items are used or not. Shortages must be reported upon delivery or customer pick-up or the invoiced quantities will be considered received. Delivery and pick-up service is available for an additional charge. Please call for rates. Set up and take down service is also available for all of our rental products. And do not forget the clean up day, we can make it as painless as possible.
